Cheated by gemstone dealer

     I purchased a Ruby stone from Tripura Emporium (PURBASHA), Baba Kharak Singh Marg, New Delhi vide Cashmemo no.89488 dated 05.07.08 for Rs.11,514/- only. I subsequently learnt that I have been cheated and the actual value of stone would not be more than 2700/-. I approached the vendor on 07.07.08 for a refund. I was sent back on the pretext that the Manager Mr. Rajesh Malhotra was not available. I sent my wife again on 08.07.08 with the Ruby stone and the cashmemo to collect the refund. She had to wait for hours at the store to meet the Manager who refused to refund the money. He insisted that she must buy something of equivalent value from their store only which I feel is unreasonable. I have a right to return the purchased goods and get refund within a reasonable time. Please guide me.

Problem with Nokia 6500

     I purchased Nokia mobile set 6500 Slide from Subhiksha, Center Stage Mall, sec-18, Noida on 10/03/08.  Since then it is not working well.  I submitted this mobile to Nokia Customer Care, Sec-2, near Indial Oil Building, Noida twice or thrice. Last time I submitted it on 09/06/2008. I got this mobile after replacement  on yesterday (10/07/08). But in spite of supervision of my mobile by Nokia Customer Care for more than one month, Nokia could not repair it. After that they replaced the mobile, and the replacement is also the worst. It has the same fault as the previous mobile had. I am disturbed a lot on account of this mobile set.  Kindly advice.

Suffering due to defective local made almirah 

      I paid Rs. 8650 + Rs. 200 ( transport ) for a metal almirah. At the time of purchase I was told that almirah will be 18 gauge, fitted with mirror and will be delivered to me within a weeks time. 
1. Almirah was delivered to me after a month that to with the intervention of Police.
2. When almirah was delivered, it did not had mirror. On repeated following up and on telling that I'm goining to file a case in consumer forum , the shop owner send somebody to fit the mirror.
3. I order for 18 gauge almirah and he delivered 18 by 21 gauge and in market the price of 18/21 is  almost Rs. 2000/- less.
4. It is rusted near the edge of the door and inside the locker. On complaining about this he asked me to buy the paint and paint it myself. 

     My question is I paid full money but I am not getting the product I ordered, the product is rusted indicating that it is not of good quality and on complaining he is threatening me.  What to do in this situation?

Unfair practice by Sahara City Homes 

     I  had booked unit number C16/403 in Sahara City Homes, Indore on 1st May, 2006. I specially visited the location thrice from Pune (so travelled to Indore from pune) and finalized this unit by paying 5% of the amount  as per their terms and condition and got the receipt dtd 20th May,2006. Receipt  which has the same unit number mentioned too.

    As per their further demand via letter on 11/08/07, I paid another 10% amount , making total to 15% .

    Further I received the allotment letter stating the unit number C21/303, which is a BIG surprise and shock for me.

     When I enquired, I got to know that the unit , which had been issued to me for x amount has now been assigned to some other customer for much-much higher price recently.

    In all, they ditched me, even if I was a customer for 2 + years, had my money invested with them for so long, trusted them and finally get to hear all this.

    I have been in touch with few key people, who I dealt with and many others for quite few months but don't really have any solid result. I have submitted two signed applications for correction but haven't heard anything officially from office. Everybody comes up with one or other suggestion orally and this is all I have been hearing.  Please advice.
